Club Nights & Classes

We meet every Monday from 8 to 10 p.m. all through the year except during August.

On club nights experienced members take turns to plan the programme and act as MC. We generally have a walk-through before performing each dance.

Six times per year we have a Teacher for the evening.

Membership and fees

Membership costs £6 per annum: club night fee is £2.00 for members; £3.00 for non members.

Events

We organise Saturday dances twice yearly; Summer and Autumn, plus a Hogmanay evening.

About the society

The Group was formed in 1956 and a few of the founding members are still dancing with the club. We've used many venues over the years and have been at our current hall for about three years. The splendid sprung wooden floor was installed just a couple of years ago. We are always pleased to welcome new members and visitors - and you don't need to be Scottish to join us. If you have had some experience of dancing do come along to meet us. You will enjoy an evening of the best keep-fit regime in existence.
